LAKRITZ, MURRAY and
LINDA FELDMAN and
their daughter JULIE with
JOSH RUBIN were spotted
in the crowd watching the
fashions and munching on
gourmet appetizers. LINDA
FELDMAN is a childhood
friend of New York disc
jockey and former Detroiter
ANITA SARKO. Sarko add-
ed some New York style to
the evening spinning
records. Sarko is busy per-
forming at Lotus Blossom
in Manhattan and putting
together music for NORMA
KAMALI, LINDA DRES-
NER and a performance at
Hard Rock Cafe. Sarko
found out that Detroit can
be as diverse as New York,
when she appeared on
television here. Sarko
wasn't the opening act —
The opening act was a Zulu

BOND TOUR

The Israel Bonds Women's
Division recently held their
5th Annual Art and Home
Tour for women with 1987
purchases of $1500 or more
in Israel Bond securities.
BARBARA STOLLMAN,
women's division chairman,
MYRNA PARTRICH, chair-
man, and ELAINE SAB-
BOTA, associate chairman,
were on hand to help guide
the women through the
elegant homes of CLAIRE
and ROBERT J. CHAM-
BERS, MARIANNE and
ALAN E. SCHWARTZ and
JANET and ARNOLD
ARONOFF. The furnishings
ranged from 18th Century
to Country French and to
modern. CLAIRE CHAM-
BERS mentions that one
sculpture, Trail's End, was
recently on loan to Presi-
dent Reagan. Marianne
Schwartz, an art history
major, added insight into
her lovely art collection.
DOREEN HERMELIN, a
committee member, was
there, and it was mentioned
that she was instrumental
in having some of the
--
owners volunteer their
homes. "She can talk you
into anything," added one
member of the crowd.
