Resettlement Is
Keynote Topic

The volunteer services
department of Jewish Family
Service and Resettlement
Service will hold its 19th an-
nual volunteer Institute
Thursday at the Jewish Fami-
ly Service building, 24123
Greenfield, Southfield.
The morning will begin
with a continental breakfast
at 9:30 a.m., followed by
keynote address by Elaine
Zaks, resettlement service
casework supervisor, and
Lydia Kuniaysky, resettle-
ment service caseworker.
They will discuss the resettle-
ment service and the Soviet
Jews whom the agency will
resettle within the next few
months.
The planning for the sym-
posium has been coordinated
by the volunteer services com-
mittee, under the chairman-
ship of Rose Roth.
Other members of the com-
mittee are: Clara Barenholtz,
Gerry Barr, Susie Citrin,
Fayga Dombey, Gert Edgar,
Bea Epel, Cyrille Friedman,
Elsie Harold, Sharon Hart,

Jewish Family Service con-
tinues its program of
supportive-educational help
for relatives of elderly in-
dividuals who are experienc-
ing problems in the handling
of their loved ones.
A group will be formed to
meet for six weekly sessions
at 7 p.m. Wednesdays, begin-
ning in November. The group
will address itself to many of
the stresses experienced by
the relatives of aging people.
There is a fee. For informa-
