Ray Krieger

Ray Krieger, a secretary for
Southfield Public Schools for
more than 20 years, died Oct.
7 at age 64.
Born in Detroit, Mrs.
Krieger retired from the
schools in 1985. She was
graduated from Central High
School. She was a former PTA
president, and president of
the Southfield Education
Secretaries, president of the
parent-youth organization of
Southfield and was active in
Southfield politics.
She leaves a son, Donald of
Danville, Calif.; a daughter,
Mrs. Robert (Debbi)
Laskowski; two sisters, Mrs.
Louis (Sylvia) Wasserman of
Seal Beach, Calif., and Mrs.
Joseph (Shirley) Ephraim;
and six grandchildren.

Irving Lipson

Irving I. Lipson, general
manager of Serwer's
Wholesale Hardware and
Restaurant Supply, died Oct.
4 at age 75.
Born in Beaufort, S.C., Mr.
Lipson was a member and
past president of Zager-Stone
Lodge of B'nai B'rith and was
its current blood bank
chairman.
He leaves his wife, Bessie;
three sons, Lawrence of
Chicago, Ill., Robert and
James; three brothers,
Samuel, Joseph and Mickey
of Beaufort; two sisters, Mrs.
Birdye Levy of South
Carolina and Mrs. Freda
Potalsky of Charleston, S.C.;
