Fisher will be dedicated Wednesday at the Jewish Community Center in West Bloomfield. The bronze bust, to be per- manently displayed in the lobby area of the Jewish Com- munity Center, is the work of artist Jerome Soble. "It was my idea," said Soble. "I feel that Max Fisher is very unique to our communi- ty and we're privileged to share his presence. This man has done so much. My con- cern is that the younger generations will know what he looks like. The man should be more than just a name on the side of the building." Jewish Welfare Federation President Dr. Conrad L. Giles and Jewish Community Center President Sidney Freedland will officiate at the 8:15 p.m. ceremony, with a dessert reception to follow.
