Torah Award at the 73rd ban-
quet of Yeshivath Beth
Yehudah schools, Nov. 22 at
the Westin Hotel,
Renaissance Center.
Rabbi Norman Kahn, the
schools' executive director,
said that Tamaroff will be
cited for his contributions to
the schools.
Yeshivath Beth Yehudah
has reached a record enroll-
_ ment of over 600 children in
the 1987 school year. Beth
Yehudah provides all-day
Hebrew and secular educa-
tion to boys and girls on two
campuses. It was founded in
1914 and is the oldest and
largest Hebrew day school in
Michigan.
Tribute and support com-
mittees are forming for the
