The Jewish Welfare Federation is the cen-
tral Jewish community organization of
Detroit which, operating as a voluntary
body and in concert with its member
agencies, carries out the functions of financ-
ing, budgeting, planning and coordination
of services, leadership development and
leadership renewal.

In providing service to the entire Jewish
community and aid to the Jewish People,
Federation expresses its belief in Jewish
principles of justice and the need for united
action for the common good.
