She leaves a daughter, Mrs.

Veterans, died Sept. 24 at age
99.
Born in England, Mrs.
Cohen was active with the
Red Cross and the Sinai
Hospital Guild.
She leaves a son, Ralph of
Santa Monica, Calif.; a
daughter, Mrs. Leo (Cecille)
Ash; five grandchildren, five
great-grandchildren and one
great-great-grandson.

Lee Stein

Lee D. Stein, chairman of
the board of Farbman/Stein
and Co., died Sept. 26 at age
52.
Born in Detroit, Mr. Stein
was a member of the Detroit
Club, Detroit Yacht Club and
the Safari Club. He was a
graduate of the Detroit Col-
lege of Law in 1966 and
Wayne State University. Mr.
Stein was a licensed real
estate broker and building
contractor.
He leaves a son, Eric; two
daughters, Amy and Allison;
his parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Robert (Minnie) Stein; a
sister, Judy Weiner.

Leo Polk

Leo Polk, past president of
what is now Zager-Stone-
Tucker-Grant Lodge of B'nai
B'rith, died Sept. 22.
A former Detroiter, Mr. Polk
resided in Dania, Fla., at the
time of his death. He was in-
strumental in the formation
of many blood banks and had
donated more than 320 pints
of blood himself.
He is survived by his wife,
Natalie; a son, Herbert; a
brother, Melvin of Detroit;
and two grandchildren.
