The late Mr. Eisenberg was
associated with every major
Jewish institution in Detroit
and in Israel. He served as
president of the Sinai
Hospital board of trustees;
was a member of the board of
governors of the Jewish
Welfare Federation and the
Jewish Home for the Aged;
was chairman of the Allied
Jewish Campaign Israel
Emergency Fund; and was
director of the Detroit Service
Group on the Allied Jewish
Campaign Cash Mobilization
Committee.
The Jewish National Fund
is the organization responsi-
ble for afforestation and land
reclamation in the Jewish
