Young Adult Division

Education and commitment to service—
and some fun along the way—contributed
to an outstanding year for the ever-growing
Young Adult Divison (YAD).

Volunteers raised $392,000 for the Allied
Jewish Campaign by holding fund-raising
meetings, a new gifts event and a Super
Sundae telethon-dance attended by 250.
Yet another group performed community
service with visits to the Jewish Home for
Aged, Sinai Hospital and Fleischman Resi-
dence. Sixty YAD participants in a liaison
program saw first hand the work of Fed-
eration and its agencies.

Six lecture brunches, three socials, three
outreach programs for new YAD partici-
pants and a grand finale—the division's
annual meeting, attended by 325 at Knoll-
wood Country Club—brought a productive
and exciting program year to a close.
