ORT To Honor
Charlupski
Franka Charlupski will be
honored by Michigan Region
of Women's American ORT at
the annual capital funds
event, 8 p.m. Nov. 3 at the
Bloomfield Hills home of
Monica and Norman
Ziegelman. Mrs. Charlupski
will be cited for her support of
ORT.
The funds from this event
will be used to construct a
classroom in an ORT school
in Israel.
A community tribute com-
mittee is being formed. For

Oak Park Ladies
There will be a regular
business meeting of the
Ladies of Oak Park on

Due For Women
The Woman's Auxiliary of
the United Hebrew Schools
will host a donor luncheon on
Nov. 4 at 12:15 p.m. at Cong.

The Hora Aviv Israeli Folk
Dance Troupe will present a
dance program.
Funds raised will go for
scholarships for United
Hebrew School students and
alumni. Applicants may
receive funds toward teacher
training programs and
scholarships to attend
Hebrew speaking camps.
Grants for study programs in
Israel at the high school and
college level are available.
Contributions will also help
to supply books for the
Midrasha library.
The auxiliary's goal is to
train future teachers and
