Sweden and Max Fisher of
Wiesbaden, West Germany;

Jack Feig

Jack Feig, one of the
original members of Cong.
B'nai Moshe, died Sept. 21 at
age 106.
Born in Hungary, Mr. Feig
lived 77 years in Detroit. The
former owner of Wolverine
Home Outfitters, Mr. Feig
retired from the business at
age 90.
He leaves a son, Gustave;
three grandchildren and six
great-grandchildren.

Lorne Greene,
'Bonanza' Star

Los Angeles — Lorne
Greene, an actor best known
for his starring role as Ben
Cartwright on the Bonanza
TV show, died Sept. 11 at age
72.
Born in Ottawa, Canada,
Mr. Greene began as a radio
newscaster and later worked
on stage and in films such as
The Silver Chalice and Peyton
Place. In 1959, he won the
Cartwright role, which he
portrayed until the show's
end in 1973.
