Is Discussed

The Jewish Community
Center of Washtenaw County
will sponsor Sunday
workshops designed to ex-
plore the experience of Man
in a Changing Society.
Through lecture, discussion
and experimental exercises
men will have the opportuni-
ty to reflect upon their at-
titudes and feelings about
relationships, religion, work
and the women's movement.
On Oct. 18; Robert Pasick,
a psychologist at the Ann Ar-
bor Center for the Family,
will conduct a workshop on
"Man: The Challenge of
Change?'
On Nov. 1, Rabbi Allan
Kensky of the Beth Israel
Congregation will lead a
discussion ' on "Men and
Judaism." On. Nov. 22,
Charles Garvin; a professor of
social work at the University
of Michigan, will conduct the
workshop on "Men and Rela-
tionships?'
Each Sunday workshop will
meet at 11 a.m. at the
Washtenaw County Center,
2935 Birch Hollow, Ann Ar-
bor. Admission includes coffee
and bagels. Non-members are
invited. To register, call the
Center, 971-0990. If child care
is needed, reservations are
required.

Book On Pollard

tracted with Wolf Blitzer,
Washington Bureau chief of
the Jerusalem Post, to write
the first book on the
Jonathan Jay Pollard spy
scandal.
Blitzer is the only journalist
to have interviewed the
former intelligence analyst
for the U.S. Navy who was
convicted of spying in 1986.
Last March, Pollard was
sentenced to life in prison.
