Circus Helps
Kids To Read

Ringling Bros. and Barnum
and Bailey Circus, in coor-
dination with Reading is Fun-
damental (RIF), will continue
its nationwide program to en-
courage children to read, call-
ed "Ringling Readers," 10
a.m. Wednesday at Stevenson
Elementary School,
Southfield.
Ringling Readers is
presented in conjucntion with
the Oct. 6-11 appearance of
Ringling Bros. and Barnum
and Bailey Circus at Joe
Louis Arena.
An official Ringling Bros.
and,Barnum and Bailey Cir-
cus clown will visit selected
schools to teach the impor-
tance of learning to read
through a half-hour live com-
edy magic show aimed toward
children ages 5-9.
