Youth, Seniors Sing
At JWF Annual Event

in last year's Dor L'Dor in

Hillel Day School 7th grade
choir in a brief concert at the
Jewish Welfare Federation's
61st annual meeting, Sept.
30.
Set for 7:30 p.m. at the
Maple/Drake Jewish Com-
munity Center, the meeting
will be highlighted by the
presentation of the Fred M.
Butzel Memorial Award to
George M. Zeltzer.
The Dor L'Dor concert is
part of a comprehensive in--

tergenerational program de-
signed to help children re-
late to older people. It was
initiated three years ago with
funds from the Max M. Fish-
er Jewish Community Found-
ation.
Besides rehearsals, ac-
tivities leading up to the con-
cert include a pen-pal pro-
gram and a series of lectures
on the myths of aging.
During the business portion
of the meeting, Federation
President Dr. Conrad L. Giles
will deliver his first annual
report on the past year's ac-
tivities, and the election and
installation of members to
the JWF Board of Governors
will take place.
