Currently Ms. Fleischer is assistant professor of theater of the Theater Company of the University of Detroit where she recently directed A Taste of Honey. The new Readers Theater director has worked in all areas of theater primarily directing and acting. She also taught acting and directing at Oakland University as well as voice and diction at Wayne State University. won has Fleischer numerous awards for direc- ting from both of Detroit's major newspapers for Awake and Sing, Watch on the Rhine and Meyer Levin's Anne Frank.
