scheduled, with the evening
highlighted by an awards din-

programs on "Issues: Election

with Michael Kinsley, editor
of The New Republic, Prof.
Bernard Klein, political
scientist; and Stephen Was-
inger, attorney, discussing
Kinsley's views on "con-
flict/consensus: political op-
tions as we look toward the
90s?' The public is invited free

Chorus Seeks
New Members

The Oak Park Civic Chorus
is seeking members for its
1987-1988 season.
Members live in Ferndale,
Southfield, Royal Oak,
Detroit, Huntington Woods,
West Bloomfield and Oak
Park. The chorus meets week-
ly on Mondays, and the first
meeting is Sept. 14 at 7:30
p.m. in the choral room of Oak
Park High School.
