Fisher, "and we're adding
alligator shoes, in a classic
pump, for the fall. Heel height?
Alligators at the Lioness range
from one to three inches. "That's
right for the office, but that
doesn't mean it is what you
want when you are dressing
up," Beth Fisher says.
Florine Mark describes herself
as a quick person. "I stick to
three or four colors and I can
buy everything I need within
two hours. I don't look for ten
dresses because time is import-
ant to me, and I buy with travel
in mind."
As the President of Weight
Watchers with franchises in
Rhode Island, Ontario, portions
of Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky,
Massachusetts, North Carolina
and Mexico as well as Mich-
igan, Mark employs 2,000 in-
structors and averages five days
a month travelling, maybe more
when she makes a sweep of
her operations. One of Mark's
absolute NO's that would give
Molloy special satisfaction are
slacks and pants. "Too casual
for business, strictly for
weekend wear;" she says.
Being an entrepreneur in a
body conscious business, Mark
stresses a lady-like, feminine
look. She acknowledges that
her look is one that Molloy
would think was too seductive
for many conservative corpora-
tions and male executives, but
owning her own business gives
her a different latitude and a
different set of responsibilities.
Her work-day outfits include
belts, high heels, and figure
revealing straight skirts hovering
just below the knee. Right now
she is especially fond of the
separates of Escada, in pink
and gray, that intermingle in dif-
ferent ways.
In a decided break from
traditional "power" dressing ad-
vice, Mark often removes the
oversized well-tailored jackets
that she favors when she lec-
