To Gather

The Department of
Michigan Ladies Auxiliary of
the Jewish War Veterans will
conduct a meeting Sept. 14 at
8 p.m. at the Jewish War
Veterans Memorial home.
President Ruth Weiss will
report on her recent trip to
Philadelphia, where she at-
tended the 60th annual con-
vention of the National
Ladies Auxiliary of JWV.
Senior vice president Shirley
Schlussel will give her report
on fund-raising and Florence
Weber will report on the corn-
ing joint Octoberfeast with
the men's department.
Refreshments will be serv-
ed by the Lipshaw-Hoberman
Auxiliary. Frieda Samoss and
Anne Green are hostesses.
