Science Prize

Debra G. Cohen, 15, of Oak
Park, was one of 35 regional
Science Fair NASA Award
Winners for Outstanding
Achievement in recognition
of creative scientific endeavor
in aerospace research. She
won the award as a partici-
pant in a science fair spon-
sored by the Detroit News and
the Engineering Society of
Detroit.
Her project covered how
new aerodynamic design and
composite materials affected
the lift of an airplane wing.
