The senior adult depart-
ment of the Jewish Com-
munity Center, Jimmy Pren-
tis Morris Branch, announces
a new library program will oc-
cur on Mondays in the library.
Video cassettes of Book Fair
speakers will be shown at
1:30 p.m. On Monday, Howard
Cosell will discuss his book, I
Never Played the Game.
Frances Weinberg will
review A Princess in Berlin by
Arthur R. Solmssen at 11
a.m. Tuesday in Room 4.
Sinai Hospital, in conjunc-
tion with the senior adult
department, will present a
lecture dealing with dietary
counseling, entitled "Making
Sure You Eat Right." The lec-
ture will take place at 1 p.m.
Tuesday in the assembly hall
of the JPM Branch.
Following the lecture, Ar-
chie Leslie will show the first
part of the movie, Lady in the
Dark at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the
assembly hall.
On Thursday, Sarah Fried-
man will entertain at the
culture club meeting in Jaffe
Hall at 12:30 p.m.
The seniors will go to a
Tigers game Thursday. For in-
formation, contact Judy Blus-
tein, 967-4030. There is
transportation charge.
Sinai Hospital will present
a workshop entitled "Cooking
Right for One or Two." It will
take place in the assembly
hall at 1 p.m. Thursday.
The Writers Corner, under
the direction of Dr. Norma
Goldman, will meet in Room
4 at 10 a.m. on Aug. 21.

game room every Monday
from 10 a.m. to noon in the
Allen Lounge.
The senior adult depart-
ment will present author
Frita Roth Drapkin at 1 p.m.
Monday in the Henry and
Delia Meyers Memorial
Library of the Center. The
program is free, and all are
invited.
An organizational meeting
to investigate the potential
for a weekly afternoon of con-
tract bridge is being planned.
Scheduled for Sept. 10, at
10:30 a.m., it will take place
in Room 239 of the main
Jewish Center.
