Honor Florine Mark

The B'nai B'rith Women's
Council of Metropolitan
Detroit will honor Florine
Mark, president of the WW
Group, Inc., the largest fran-
chise of Weight Watchers In-
ternational, at a reception
7:30 p.m. at the Weight Wat-
chers headquarters in Farm-
ington Hills. Ms. Mark is ac-
tive with the Boy Scouts of
America, with the Detroit In-
stitute for Children and was
the 1987 Golden Mile
Chairperson for the March of
Dimes. She has been honored
by the YWCA, the Detroit
Chamber of Commerce and
by Detroit Public Schools.
Mark has been involved
with BBW since childhood.
She is also affiliated with the
Jewish Welfare Federation.
She was named the Weiz-
mann Institute of Science
Woman of the Year for 1986.
Mark will host the recep-
tion being given in her honor
by sisters and honorary
chairmen Sondra Berlin and
Micki Berg, and her mother,

Ruth Tucker. Doreen
Hermelin will introduce
Mark.
