Sylvia and Harry Brown
50th Anniversary
At a dinner _reception on
June 20, given by their
children and family at the
5000 'Ibw-n Center, Sylvia and
Harry Brown were honored
on their 50th wedding
anniversary.
The Browns were married
in McKeesport, Pa. and have
made their home in Michigan
ever since. They have two
granddaughters and a
grandson.
Mr. and Mrs. Brown have
been involved in the
Children's Leukemia Founda-
tion of Michigan since its in-
ception in 1952. Mrs. Brown
served as its executive direc-
tor for almost 30 years and
Mr. Brown as its president on
five different terms.
The Browns plan a
Hawaiian cruise to further
celebrate their anniversary.
In attendance were friends
and relatives from England,
Toronto, Florida, California,
Maryland, Virginia, Texas,
New York, Pennsylvania,
Rhode Island and
Massachusetts.
