Region, American Red Magen
David for Israel's annual
testimonial dinner, to be held
Sept. 13 at Adat Shalom
Synagogue.
The event will aid the new
Magen David Adom National
Blood Services Center in
Ramat Gan, Israel. In addi-
tion to a fully equipped blood
donor care center, lecture
halls and quality control
facilities, the center also in-
cludes research laboratories
in such fields as hepatitis,
immuno-hematology, tissue
typing for organ transplants,
AIDS and the MDA Scientific
Laboratory established in
honor of Anna and Philip
Slomovitz.
