Day Care
Promoted

New York — Jewish day
care provides for the sociali-
zation, education, and de-
velopment and furtherance of
religious identity of parents
as much as it does for their
children, according to a study
presented at a recent confer-
ence held at American
Jewish Committee headquar-
ters.
Dr. Ruth Pinkenson
Feldman, a researcher and
scholar who conducted the
study, pointed to the growing
need for Jewish day care as
more Jewish women are com-
bining careers and parenting.
