Jack Ellias
Jack Ellias has joined the
Jewish Home for Aged staff
as associate director.
As administrator of the Bor-
man Hall facility he will be
responsible for managing its
day-to-day operations. Addi-
tionally, he will assume an
executive leadership role
within the corporate struc-
ture of the organization.
Ellias brings with him a
full range of administrative
experience in the field of long-
term health care for the aged,
and most recently was assis-
tant director at the
Daughters of Israel Geriatric
Center in New Jersey.
Bar-Ilan Unit

The Detroit Friends of Bar-
Ilan University, chaired by
Bernard Stollman and Alan
Yost, will take an unusual
tack at their next workers
meeting.
Immediately following next
week's planning meeting, at
which arrangements and
assignments will be made for
the Sept. 2 Bar-Ilan dinner
honoring Emery I. Klein and
with a special citation to be
presented to Sen. Carl Levin,
the members will don their "I
Went to Bat for Bar-Ilan" t-
shirts, grab their box suppers,
board buses, and head to
Tiger Stadium to watch the
Tigers play the Oakland A's.
Stollman is president of the
Resettlement Service, and is
active with the Real Estate
Division of the Allied Jewish
Campaign, Anti-Defamation
League and Cong. Shaarey
Zedek. Yost is a member of
the United Jewish Appeal
National Young Leadership
Cabinet, will co-chair the
1987 Hadracha Mission, is a
member of the Detroit Soviet
Jewry Committee and serves
on the Jewish Community
Center board.
