of Oak Park, are celebrating
their 60th wedding anniver-
sary today.
The couple has been
membrs of Cong. B'nai
David for 45 years. Mr.

member and officer of the
United Food Commercial
Workers for 35 years.
Mrs. Rosenblat is an officer

Board Meets

The annual meeting of the
Fresh Air Society board of
directors will take place on
Aug. 9, at Camp Maas at the
Bert L. and Ibba Smokier
Pioneer Skills Center, at 2
p.m.
Nominated as officers for a
one-year term were: Presi-
dent, Dr. Richard Krugel;
Vice President, Richard
Komer; Secretary, Dorene
Finer; Treasurer, Charles L.
Schiff. Nominated for a first
term of three years were: Dr.
George L. Blum, Ronald B.
Charfoos, Kim Dickstein,
Sherri Lumberg, Dr. Donald
Sherman, Dr. Morris Weiss,
Robert Schwartz, Betsy
Heuer and Alan J. Kaufman.
Nominated to fill the last
year of a first term is Judy
Naftaly. Nominated to serve
an additional term is Dr.
Richard Krugel. Nominated
to serve a second three-year
term are Dr. Mark Diem and
Jane Sherman
Mrs. 'Baba Smokier will be
honored "for her efforts and

support" in building
Mainstreet, the replica of a
frontier street constructed at
the Bert L. and Toba Smokier
Pioneer Skills Center and
Louis Horne and his late wife,
Mrs. Evelyn Miriam Horne ,
will be recognized "for their -
support" of facilities and pro-
grams for the physically
challenged at camp.

Religious School
Registration

Cong. Beth Shalom
Religious School is accepting
registration for the 1987-1988
school year. Beth Shalom is
an independent Conservative
religious school offering a
variety of activities for youth
in kindergarten through
seventh grades. Classes will
be held on Monday and
Wednesday at Avery School in
Oak Park or at the Jewish
Community Center in West
Bloomfield on Tuesday and
Thursday. All classes will
meet at Avery on Sunday.
