Margaret Weiner, director

been honored as Clinical
Social Worker of the Year by
the Michigan Society for
Clinical Social Work.
Weiner is past president of
the Michigan Society for
Clinical Social Work. She is a
member of the American
Group Therapy Association
and the Academy of Certified
Social Workers, and is a cer-
tified marriage counselor in
the state of Michigan. She
has been a consultant on
group therapy and the leader
of workshops and presenter of
professional papers.
Among her published pro-
fessional articles, are Group
Treatment with Ages, Conver-
sation on Group Treatment,
Social Casework with In-
dividuals and Families, and
Beyond the Ghet: Group
Treatment with Divorced
Women.
Weiner has been associated
with the JFS since June 1956.
She was a casework super-
visor from September 1965 to
December 1979 and was ap-
pointed as director of profes-
sional services in December
1979.
Law Degree
Robert M. Kaner, formerly
of Southfield, received his
Juris Doctor degree with
honors from Harvard Law
School. He is a 1979 graduate
of Southfield High School and
was graduated from
Princeton University in 1983.
