cumbered dollars, for the win-
ner's personal use only."

"We always have an awards
dinner in May," says Stone.
"Along with all Probus Club
members, all past winners of
the award are invited to the
dinner, and a large number of
them show up, too. And, of
course, the current winners
are there. One year, one of our
winners was on sabbatical in
France when he was chosen
for the award, and he used his
award money just to come
back to Detroit for the dinner.
It's really considered quite a
significant award to these
people."
