Memorial Center and chair-

June 27 at age 39.
Born in Detroit, Mrs.
Meklir was a member of Tem-
ple Israel.

Bryan and Derek; a daughter,
Michelle; her parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Harry (Ada)
Daniels; three sisters,
Rosalyn Beare, Bernice
Daniels and Marsha Blitz;
and a brother, Harold
Goldberg.

Libbie Fogelman

Libbie Ruth Fogelman, a
member of Jewish communal
organizations, died June 26 at
age 92.
Born in Syracuse, N.Y., Mrs.
Fogelman was a member of
the Jewish War Veterans
Auxiliary, Temple Israel
Sisterhood, Hadassah,
Women's American ORT and
the National Council of
Jewish Women.
She leaves a sister, Mrs.
Alec (Edna) Gray; a brother,
Nathan Root of Arizona;
nieces and nephews.

FARMINGTON HILLS

a Founder and Past President of the Michigan Chapter of the
American Friends of the Hebrew University. He was honored by
the University on June 18, 1987 with an Honorary Fellowship in
recognition of his dedicated support of The Hebrew University
and higher education and research in Israel. He was a recipient
of The American Friends Torch of Learning Award. He served as
a member of the Council of Trustees and as a past Associate
Member of the University's Board of Governors.

His loss will be felt internationally and we extend our sympathy
to Edythe, Larry, Marty and Robert on the passing of this giant
in our generation.
