I had two delicious pieces of
mesquite-grilled salmon . .
brought by assistant general
manager Brenda Patrick
because of a help shortage .. .
Brenda is a perfect example of
how a waitress should be .. .
smiling, very personable and
most efficient . . . Two guests
with me had the unbelievable
ribs and chicken combo . . .
When one came, it was thought
to be for both ... . but then
another was placed on the table
. . .There's so much that it's not
unusual to take food home or to
the office . . . "Leftovers"are not
put in styrofoam or cardboard
boxes . . . Folks get them in
plastic containers with clear
plastic tops.
Even hot napkins with lemon
wedges are brought for each
person . . . And when was the
last time you saw more than
ten cars parked at this locale

began investigating the
possibility of creating a
cookbook that the average per-
son could use without being
fearful of consuming unhealthy
amounts of sodium, cholesterol
and fat . . . The cookbook has
also been designed as an educa-
tional tool in the effort to fight
cardiovascular disease . . .

Art In Park
July Feature

"Art in the Park" will be held
in the Oak Park Shepherd Park
on July 5 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
in conjunction with the annual
Funfest of the city of Oak Park.
Sponsored by the Oak Park
Chamber of Commerce, Art in
the Park will feature fine arts
and crafts by individual artists,
including blown glass, stained
glass, lapidary, oil painting and
woodwork. A separate area will
display'the involvement of the
citizens of the city of Oak Park
in the arts.
Dr. Sy Berman is chairman.
Represented will be the FACE
Learning Center and the adult
education departments of the
city of Oak Park, Oak Park
Schools and the Jewish Com-
munity Center.

Benefit Cruise

The March of Dimes will have
a benefit Fireworks Cruise at
7:15 p.m. Thursday aboard the
Boblo Boat. For tickets, call the
