William Jacobs, longtime
Detroit area real estate de-
veloper and owner of Buddy's
Pizza, has been elected the
new president of the Michi-
gan Jewish Sports Hall of
Fame. Jacobs succeeds the
late Alvin N. Foon, who died
Feb. 23.
Other officers include vice
presidents, Robert A. Stein-
berg, Myron L. Milgrom and
Seymour Brode; secretary,
Milton Fishman and trea-
surer Ann Newman.
In addition, the board of
governors was extended to
nine members and includes
new board members William
Hertz and William
Engelman. Executive Direc-
tor, James Grossman, is also
a member of the board of
governors.

bank Award for outstanding
scholarship and commitment
to civil engineering.
Aaron is a 1985 graduate

the son of Anthony S. Brown
and Barbara Ann Schiff of
Bloomfield Hills and Bir-
mingham.
James D. Borden, formerly
of Oak Park, was graduated
from Washington University
in St. Louis, Mo., where he
received his master's degree
in electrical engineering.

Borden is employed at the
