Sosin To Coordinate Sale of 'IVRI' Bonds Israel Bond Synagogue Ac- tivities Chairman Max Sosin will help to_ coordinate a community-wide effort by local rabbis and their congre- gations on behalf of the High Holy Day Israel Bond Appe- als which will focus on the sale of IVRI Bonds to con- gregants for themselves, for pension funds and for founda- tions. The IVRI Bond, a variable rate issue, currently pays 6.33 per cent interest and is available for a minimum of $5,000, or $2,000 for IRA ac- counts only. The interest rate is adjusted twice a year, based on the average prime rate of three major U.S. banks. The Bond Organization is offering early maturity value for 1973 Bonds when the hol- der adds additional funds and reinvests in a bond of a higher denomination. To reach a maximum number of 1973 Bond holders, a special telethon, manned by over 75 volunteers from the Israel Bond New Leadership and Women's Divisions, will be held Thursday, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., in the United • Hebrew Schools building in Southfield.
