Seniors Troupe
Appears At Attic

The Attic Theatre will pre-
sent a performance by Free
Street Too, the seniors acting
company from Chicago's Free
Street Theater at 2 p.m. Sun-
day at the Attic Theatre.
The group of seven actors
and actresses aged 72-85 will
enact two separate pieces.
The first, To Life!, is a look
at 75 years of history through
the personal remembrances of
the cast members. The sec-
ond, What Do You Want To
Be When You Grow Old?, is
an exploration of the myths
and realities of old age from
the perspectives of people liv-
ing in it.

The Free Street Too com-
pany has traveled throughout
the United States, performing
at governors' conferences on
the aging in 11 states. It was
the subject of an Emmy
Award-winning documentary,
Colors of Grey, done by
WBBM-TV (CBS in Chicago),
and was featured in an
ABC-TV documentary, Not
The Same Old Story in 1983.

Senior Men's Club
To Install Officers

Vicki
Councilwoman
Goldbaum will install the
newly elected officers of the
Senior Men's Club of South-
field, 2 p.m. Wednesday at
McDonnell Towers, 24250
Civic Center Drive. There
will be a luncheon at 1 p.m.
New officers are: Zangwill
Burnstine, president; Meyer
Waterstone, first vice
president; Henry Seligman,
second vice president; Gerald
Moss, recording secretary;
and Phillip Cutler, treasurer
and financial secretary.
Trustees are: Louis
Diamond, Harry Michelson
and Sidney Rosenblatt. The
executive board includes: Ben
Elkin, Sherman Goldman,
Louis Gus, Harrison
Holtzman and Ralph Mar-
zolino.
Attendance is open to all

The Senior Attic Resale
Shop of the Southfield Senior
Adult Center has opened.
The shop has a variety of
new, used and handmade
items, such as clothing,
jewelry, furniture, small
appliances, tape recorders,
TVs, radios, books and more.
Hours are 9 a.m. - noon Mon-
day, Wednesday and Friday.

Seniors Discuss
Current Events

The senior adult depart-
ment of the Jewish Commu-
nity Center, at the main
building in West Bloomfield,
will present a current events
discussion led by Abe Gorn-
bein at 1 p.m. Monday in the
Henry and Delia Meyers
Memorial Library.
All are invited free of
charge.
The seniors room at the
main Jewish Center opens
Monday mornings for games.
Following lunch there is a
program. Admission is free.

Topic For Seniors

Walker, Budson

Rabbi Joseph Gutmann
will present a special lecture
on "Ancient Jewish History"
at 11 a.m. today in the as-
sembly hall of the Jimmy
Prentis Morris Branch of the
Jewish Community Center.
Sinai Hospital, in coopera-
tion with the senior adult de-
partment of the Jewish Cen-
ter, will present a lecture on
stress management at 1 p.m.

The jazzy sounds of Ursula
Walker and Buddy Budson will
be featured at the 49th annual
meeting of the Jewish Welfare
Federation's Young Adult Divi-
sion, Tuesday.
Set for 7:30 p.m. at Knollwood
Country Club, the evening will
include the election and in-
stallation of officers, as well as
a review of the past year's
activities.
