B'nai B'rith Failiily Night at
Tiger Stadium on June 24.
The entire community is

Bonds Dinner
To Honor Barden

An Israel Bond Tribute
dinner sponsored by the
Louis Marshall Suburban
Tikvah Lodge, in cooperation
with the B'nai B'rith Met-
ropolitan Detroit Council,
will honor long-time B'nai
B'rith leader Louis E. Bar-
den, recipient-elect of the
State of Israel's Freedom
Award, 6:00 p.m. July 7 at
Adat Shalom Synagogue.
Dinner chairman is Alfred I.
Stebbins; reservation chair-
man is Carl Pearl; a tribute
committee is in formation.
A World War II veteran of
the U.S. armed forces, Bar-
den, a resident of Oak Park,
was involved in five major
European campaigns and
earned the Bronze Star for
meritorious service to his
country.
