B'nai Mitzvah group — will
receive special certificates for
achievement in study during
Shabbat services at Shabbat
Ha-Noar on Saturday.
For the past year, these young
people have attended a special
class under Rabbi Sherman
Kirshner's direction, and have
furthered their studies in
Jewish living and the Jewish
life cycle. They studied the
Mishna and Pirkei Avot, deal-
ing with Jewish ethics and
morals.
The class plans to continue
next year with special em-
phasis on Hebrew language
skills.
Students in the class are:

Kam, David Kirshner, Michael
Rose, Eric Sternberg, Steven
Weingarden and Joel Zola.
The entire P.B.M. class will

tivities will include baseball
and contests for the scouts and
tennis for the scouts and adults.

leader and the scouts will
receive an Israeli flag.
