B'nai Moshe Dinner Celebrates 75th
Cong. B'nai Moshe will con-
clude the celebration of its 75th
anniversary at a dinner-dance
June 14 at the synagogue.
Cocktails will be served at 5:30
p.m. and dinner will follow.
Music will be provided by
Fenby-Carr and Cantor Louis
Klein will entertain.
The evening will include a
special presentation to Alfred
and Bernice (Rosenberg)
Deutsch whose families have
rendered three decades of ser-
vice to B'nai Moshe.
Mrs. Deutsch's father, Morris
Rosenberg, was president of the
synagogue from 1936 to 1937
and from 1939 to 1941. Adolph
Deutsch, father of the honoree,
was president from 1934 to
1935 and was actively involved
in the construction of the
building at Dexter and
Lawrence. The daily chapel is
named for the senior Mr.
Deutsch.
The younger Deutsch was the
synagogue's youngest presi-
dent. He served from 1953 to
1955. He is a member of the
congregation's board of direc-
tors and co-chairs several com-
mittees. His son, Dennis, sits on
the synagogue board as well.
The evening will include a
Presidents March and
Alfred and Bernice Deutsch
memorabilia will be on display.
A special videotape, Our
Jubilee Year, will be shown.
