The Jewish Community
Center Library has announced
its new hours.
The library is open 6-9 p.m.
Thursdays in addition to its
regular hours: 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
Sunday, and 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Mon-
day, Tuesday and Thursday.

Duplicate Bridge

On-going duplicate bridge
games are played 12:30 p.m.

Schools Honor
Sam Sniderman

The Michigan Association
of School Board's interim
executive director, Dr. Sam
M. Sniderman, was inducted
into the Michigan Education
Hall of Fame.
During the past 38 years,
Sniderman has worked to
improve Michigan's public
schools as teacher, principal,
superintendent, and leader of
the Michigan Association of
School Boards (MASB). He
served as superintendent of-
Oak Park Schools from 1971
to 1980. His educational serv-
ice has also included 13 years
as director of curriculum at
Highland Park Schools
(1955-1968) and three years
as deputy superintendent of
the Ann Arbor School Dis-
trict (1968-1971). In 1980 he
joined the staff of MASB,
first serving as deputy execu-
tive director and currently as
interim - executive director.
