The Michigan Duo is dedicated to promoting the arts and the music of Michigan com- posers by commissioning, sup- porting and performing their works. Klein has been involved with 'Bar-Ilan's Detroit activities for the past several years, and recently led a visit of Hadassah members to the campus. She is immediate past president of the Greater Detroit Chapter of Hadassah.-In addition, she has held a number of key leader- ship roles in Women's Division, Allied Jewish Campaign. Humanistic Jews Elect Lynne Master President Lynne Master of Hun- tington Woods was elected president of the Society for Humanistic Judaism at its 17th annual meeting. Ms. Master is a former president of the Birmingham Temple and a former president of the national group that was organized to fight the fundamentalist right, Voice of Reason. She has served on the board of the Society for Humanistic Judaism since 1980. Other directors of the Society for Humanistic Judaism elected from the De- troit area were: E.
