20th production in the ten-year

Cycle Races
In Birmingham

Starting the secondhalf of a
14-city, ten-week national tour,
the 1987 Nabisco Mayor's Cup
Cycling Series will stop in Bir-
mingham on Saturday.
The only world-class cycling
series in the United States, the
Nabisco Mayor's Cup is in its
third year The total purse of
$225,000 makes it one of the
richest bicycling-racing circuits
in the world.
Racing through the streets of
downtown Birmingham in the
area around Shain Park star-
ting at noon, there will be
men's and women's events.
Spectators are invited at no
charge to watch.

Emmy Winner

Independent filmmakers,
Sue Marx and Pamela Conn
of Sue Marx Films, Inc. won
an Emmy statuette for their
film, This Is My Home — This
Is Detroit which was produced
for the city of Detroit. The
Emmy Award was given for
the best public affairs pro-
gram by the Detroit Chapter
of the National Academy of
Television Arts and Sciences.
