MITCH'S II

Dick Sikorski

England, here to attend
graduation in music from
University of Michigan by
nephew Andrew Lippa (she is
Naomi's sister), Shirlee Iden,
Naomi Lippa, Sybil Little,
Carla Jean Schwartz, Shelley
Golden, Tamara Friedman,
Marilyn Zack and sweet Lucy
Pienkowska, Leah's right-hand
lassie.
Andrew modeled tails in a
wedding walk . . . and later, as
a candled cake was wheeled in
. . . with more slides of Israeli
scenes being shown . . . sang
"Hatikvah" while people stood
and the Israel flag was flown.
Sixty persons worked on the
show . . . which was no ordinary
fashion presentation . . . This
was fine entertainment . . .
packed into 50 minutes.
The gals left . . . into the
beautiful outdoors . . . in their
own glamorous fineries . . . nod-
ding heads in agreement .. .
Leah Marks' fashion show was
as even better than her last one
. . . which seems to be a Leah
Marks trademark.
PEOPLE WILL BE AR-
RIVING from all over . . . May
22 .. . when Rickey Dee
(Drapkin) puts on his show at
BBC Steak House on 14 Mile
just east of 1-75 and Oakland
Mall . . . with the Louie Marr
Trio, The Loving Cup Trio and
guest artists . . . Ricky will sing
his great standards like "You're
Nobody Till Somebody Loves
You," "More," "Shadow of Your
Smile," his "Fly Me To The
Moon" theme song and many
other tunes . . . No admission
charge . . . and it is from 9 p.m.
to 2 a.m. . . . There'll be much
nostalgia as guys 'n gals who
knew Rlcky from days of 12th
St. and Dexter will probably
mob the place with partying,
dancing and a good time for all.
WAS REMEMBRANCE
WHEN Irving's Deli opened its
doors at 6 a.m. for breakfast .
When the Guttman family sold
its Greenfield and 11 Mile Rd.
spot . . . later opening present
locale at LaMirage Mall on
Northwestern, it was 6 a.m.
again . . . for a year-and-a-half
