In spite of the recent difficulties at the State Prison of Southern Michigan, the Seder went very smoothly. The Jewish prisoners conducted themselves under the highest standards of responsibility. The presence of several fami- ly members greatly con- tributed to the festive at- mosphere. One inmate sat down to dinner with his two daughters for the first time in 18 years. Once again the Michigan Jewish community displayed great generosity and understanding in supporting such a worthy causer "MEET US 1/4 ST. LOUIS" is slated to be the biggest Jewish Singles Party to ever hit the Midwest . . .
