'Yitz' Greenberg
To Speak Here

"The Breakfast Club" of the
Jewish Welfare Federation and
the United Jewish Appeal's
Young Leadership Cabinet will
have Rabbi Irving "Yitz"
Greenberg as its speaker on
Tuesday.
The by-invitation meeting
will be held at 7:45 a.m. at the
Southfield Hilton.
Rabbi Greenberg is the presi-
dent and co-founder of CLAL:
The National Jewish Center for
Learning and Leadership. An
advocate of greater understan-
ding and tolerance between
Judaism's major branches,
Greenberg wrote an award-
winning column last year
predicting that Judaism would
split between Orthodox and
non-Orthodox groups by the
year 2000 unless efforts are
made toward reducing
polarization.
In June, the group is schedul-
ed to hear Dr. Leonard Fein,
publisher and editor of Moment
magazine.

n Israel, trees provide the very breath
of life. They provide for Israel's most
basic needs—life, beauty and security.
JNF has planted over 180 million
trees, establishing thriving parks, forests
and urban greenbelts throughout Israel.
Now, the tradition of planting trees in
Israel has been made even easier with
Trees by Phone, your living link with
Israel's land.
Call today to:
• commemorate a special event
• memorialize a loved one
• suppOrt JNF's afforestation program
