Saretta Mosher Breslow,
owner of the Robin Productions
dramatic arts studio, died May
7 at age 66.
Born in Windsor, Mrs.
Breslow resided in Detroit and
Florida for many years prior to
moving to Las Vegas, Nev., 11/2
years ago.
She was a member of B'nai
B'rith Women, Northwest Child
Rescue Women, was on the
board of the Detroit Opera
Guild and wrote, produced and
directed shows for all of the
organizations she was involved
in and for World War II bonds
as well.
She leaves he husband, Ar-
thur; two daughters, Mrs. J.
Barry (Debra) Rubin of
Southfield and Mrs. Donald
(Robin) Hoffer of Canoga Park,
Calif.; a brother, Sam Cohen of
Dayton, Ohio; four sisters, Mrs.

Art Memorializes
Former Detroiter
A stainless steel and bronze
sculpture entitled, Eternal
Flame and Spirit, was
presented in memory of former
Detroiter Howard S. Lastar to
the Paradise Valley Town Hall
in Paradise Valley, Ariz.
Born in Detroit, Mr. Lastar
resided here for 26 years, prior
to moving to Arizona ten years
ago. He died Oct. 28, 1986.
He was a general contractor
and former president of the
Paradise Valley Homeowner's
Association, an officer of the
Kiwanis Club, commander of
the Desert Hills Sheriff's Posse,
president of the Mountain View
Estates Homeowner's Associa-
tion and an active member of
the Mountain Preservation
Committee.
The sculpture was created by
John Richen and is on perma-
nent display.
El Al Buys
Two Big Jets
Tel Aviv — Two advanced
Boeing 757 aircraft are being
acquired by El Al Israel Air-
lines in one of the largest
private financing transac-
tions here in recent years.
Fifty million dollars, of the
airplanes' total cost of $78
million, is being provided by
Bank Hapoalim in a credit
arrangement guaranteed by
Export-Import Bank, the
United States export credit
agency. The 12-year loan is
being provided without any
Israel government guarantee.
Hungary To Get
New Siddurim
The American Jewish Joint
Distribution Committee (JDC)
will publish the first
Hungarian siddur to be printed
in that country since the war.
JDC President Heinz Eppler
announced that the agreement
to publish 5,000 siddurim was
worked out at a meeting in
Hungary between JDC Ex-
ecutive Vice President Ralph I.
Goldman and members of the
Hungarian government.
