Israel Trips
For Singles
The United Synagogue of
America is offering three
trips to Israel for singles this
summer.
Each of the trips leaves
Aug. 10 and returns Aug. 23.
Trips are for singles 22-35,
35-60 and for single parents
and children.
Featured will be full Israeli
breakfasts daily, five dinners,
two Shabbat lunches, touring
including a sound and light
show, a performance by
pianist Issak Tavior and a re-
ception at the Knesset.
The trip also includes a
visit to Kibbutz Hanaton,
special Shabbat services at
the Center for Conservative
Judaism in Jerusalem, a
gathering with Israeli singles
and tree-planting at the
United Synagogue's Jewish
National Fund forest.
Cost of the trip is $1,759
per person, double occupancy.

Adventure Center
Evening Planned
An evening at the
Tamarack Camps Adventure
Center is planned for 8:30
p.m. May 16.
The evening includes re-
freshments, games and
socializing. The adventure
center is located just south of
Tel-12 Mall on Telegraph.
There is an admission fee,
and paid reservations are due
by today.

Moving On
Program Slated
Moving On, a program for
divorced or widowed persons
age 50 and up, will have a
workshop on "Strategies for
the Second Half of Life" at
2:30 p.m. May 31 at the
SPACE offices, 30233 South-
field, Suite 100, Southfield.
Dr. Maxine Mays, adjunct
professor of special education
at Oakland University, will
direct the workshop.
