Anaruth Bernard and Dr.
Melvyn Friedman have been
named co-chairmen of the
Hillel Day School's upcoming
dedication ceremonies, slated
for June 14.

Mrs. Bernard served as
Hillel president from 1984 to
1986. She continues to serve
on the Hillel board as well as
the board of United Hebrew
Schools. She formerly served
on the boards of Cong. B'nai

Dr. Melvyn Friedman

David and Cong. Beth
Shalom.
Dr. Friedman also sits on
Hillel's board, as well as the
board of Cong. B'nai Moshe.
He served as Hillel's
president from 1982 to 1984.
Under Friedman's and
Bernard's presidencies, Hillel
initiated a five-year capital
funds campaign that was
completed in late 1986, hav-
ing reached its goal of $1.3
million.
