Zelda Robinson will be
honored by C.H:A.I.M.
(Children of Holocaust-
survivors Association in
Michigan) at its annual fund-
raiser, a presentation of the
Broadway • play Hannah
Senesh, 7:30 p.m. May 17, at
Orchestra Hall, 3711 Wood-
ward, Detroit.
As chairman of the Holocaust
subcommittee of the Jewish
Community Council, Robinson
was instrumental in organizing
youth symposia, Yom HaShoah
commemorations and other
Holocaust-related activities.
As a member of the
Southfield Board of Education,
she conceived the program and
introduced the resolution man-
dating the study of the
Holocaust in Southfield schools.
This was among the first
resolutions of its kind in the
United States.
