Jennifer Sheryl Ephraim

mitzvah on May 2 at Adat
Shalom Synagogue.
Jennifer is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Michael J. Ep-
hraim of West Bloomfield,
sister of Deanna and Scott
and granddaughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Louis Ephraim.
Jennifer will share the occa-
sion with her twin Irina
Fuksshimov of the Soviet
Union. Irina is the daughter
of Konstantin and Sofia. Re-
cently the Fuksshimov family
was given emigration
privileges.
B'nai Mitzvah
Twin Is Freed
Howard Larky, son of
Sheldon and Barbara Larky,
and Scott Friedman, son of
Sanford and Harriet Fried-
man, will celebrate their
b'nai mitzvah on Saturday at
Cong. Shaarey Zedek.
For over a year Larky and
Friedman have been writing
to their twin in the Soviet
Union. Two weeks before the
ceremony, the boys received
news that their twin, Michael
Fuchs Rabinovich, was freed
with his family.
The Fuchs-Rabinovich fam-
ily of Moscow has been at-
tempting to emigrate since
1981 when they were refused
for "secrets." Michael's
father, Dr. Mikhail
Rabinovich, a meteorologist
and his wife, Marina, applied
in 1979 but were not offi-
cially refused for over a year.
Dr. Rabinovich had been
employed as a meteorologist
at the Moscow Hydro-
Meterologcal Center where
he served as the director of
the Laboratory for Numerical
Methods of Weather Forecast-
ing.

The big six-o party has folded at last
And didn't we all have a blast.
I want to say "thanks" to my friends and my guests,
Your generous gift was really the best.
In all of my life each of you played a part.
So every micro chip has a place in my heart.
