bration begins today at
Ohrenstein's in the Harvard
Row Mall, and continues
through Sunday.
Representatives from

the latest in watch technol-
ogy and fashion. A represen-
tative from George Hoffman
of Beverly Hills, Calif., will
present a collection of con-

Rands
He assumed
the top position at the begin-
ning of the month with Fed-
eral Enterprises, Inc., which
owns and operates the radio
stations through its sub-
sidiary, Federal Broadcasting
Co. Rands is a founder of the
company and member of its
board of directors.
A principal in the law firm
of Schlussel, Lifton, Simon,
Rands, Galvin and Jackier,
P.C., he has taken a leave
from active practice to direct
the long-range strategy for
the broadcasting company's
expansion through the ac-
quisition of other radio and
television properties. He will
continue as a principal and
shareholder of the law firm.

Kadima To Have
Annual Meeting

Kadima will hold its an-
nual meeting on Wednesday
at 7:30 p.m. at Jewish Voca-
tional Service, 29699 South-
field, Southfield. Officers and
a board of directors will be
elected. Refreshments will be
served. The public is invited.
Kadima, a non-profit
organization, sponsors group
homes for mentally ill Jewish
adults, most of whom have
lived in institutions. With
24-hour supervision, they
learn daily living skills and
take part in Jewish cultural
and religious activities.
Currently, Kadima oper-
ates one home, the Gruskin
Home, named in honor of
Rabbi and Mrs. Solomon
Gruskin, and is occupied by
six residents.

Duplicate Bridge

Eve Berk will direct Dupli-
cate Bridge, 12:30 p.m. Wed-
nesday, at the Jewish Com-
munity Center in West
Bloomfield, Room 239. Mas-
ter points will be given.
The public is welcome.
There is a fee. For informa-
