Detroit Chapter, Alpha
Omega International Dental
Fraternity and the Detroit
Auxiliary, will hold a joint
installation dinner-dance at 8
p.m. May 9 at the Troy Hil-
ton Hotel. Cocktails and hors
d'oeuvres will be served at 7
p.m.
Dr. Susan Carron will be
installed as the 58th
president of the Detroit
Chapter. A graduate of
Michigan State University,
where she earned a Bachelor
of Science degree, Dr. Carron
earned a DDS degree at the
University of Michigan in
1977 and a Master of
Pedodontics in 1979.
Concurrently, Dr. Carron
will serve as president of the
Western Branch of the De-
troit District Dental Society
and as MDA state chairman
for Children's Dental Health
Month. She also sits on the
Pedodontic Specialty Exam-
ination Review Committee.
Officers to be installed with
Dr. Carron are: Dr. Louis
Hirschman, president-elect;
Dr. Gary Berman, treasurer;
Dr. Steven Roth, treasurer-
elect; Dr. Linda Weberman,

corresponding secretary; Dr.
Henry Citron, recording sec-
retary; Dr. Jeffrey Weinfeld,
editor; Dr. Esther Sleutel-
berg, assistant editor; Dr.
Mark Luria, parliamentarian;
Dr. Dale Charnas, sergeant-
at-arms.
Linda Golnick will be mis-
tress of ceremonies. Dr. Joel
Schaumberg, regent, will in-
stall the officers.
Cheri Victor will be instal- L \
led as president of the Detroit
Auxiliary. A member since
1973, Mrs. Victor has chaired
many committees and served
on the executive board as
president-elect, treasurer,
corresponding secretary and
recording secretary.
Officers to be installed with
her are: Lori Roth,
president-elect; Debby Luria,
treasurer; Ruth Talmer, fi-
nancial secretary; Barbara
Friedman, recording secre-

corresponding secretary.
Elected to the auxiliary

Propaganda Analyst
To Speak Tuesday

The propaganda war
against the Jews will be the
theme of a public forum, 7:30
p.m. Tuesday, at the Jewish
Community Center in West
Bloomfield.
Guest speaker will be Dr.
Baruch Gitlis, Israeli media
analyst.
There is no admission
charge, and the public is in-
vited.
Dr. Gitlis will address the
Einstein Luncheon Forum,
noon Tuesday, at Southfield
Charley's. For reservations,
phone the Zionist Organiza-
tion of America, 569-1515.

Open House Set

Providence Hospital's New
Life Center will have an open
house on Sunday, from noon
to 5 pm. Guided tours will be
given of this state-of-the-art
facility dedicated to the care
of mothers and infants.
