N. Schwartz, a Grand Rapids
resident since 1967.
Schwartz has been
president of the Jewish
Community Fund of Grand
Rapids for over 12 years. He
Grand Rapids Opera and the
Chamber Music Society, a
steering committee member
of the Grand Rapids Art
Museum and vice chairman
of the board of trustees of St.
Mary's Hospital.
He retired last year as
senior vice president of the
office furniture manufactur-
ing company of Herman Mil-
ler, Inc. He now serves as a
management consultant to
several local and national
corporations.
At the tribute dinner,
Schwartz will be presented
with the State of Israel's
Jerusalem, City of Peace
Award in appreciation of his
participation in the Israel
Bond-program.
